Welcome to Spotfix! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Spotfix mobile application (“App”) and related services (“Services”). By using the Spotfix app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Overview of Spotfix
Spotfix is a mobile-based platform that connects users with independent mechanics who offer on-the-spot vehicle repair services such as puncture repairs, jump-starts, key replacements, and minor breakdown assistance. Services are currently available in Bhopal, India, with plans for future expansion.
2. Eligibility
To use Spotfix, you must be at least 18 years old. No driver’s license is required, but you must be the rightful owner or authorized user of the vehicle for which you are requesting assistance.
3. Booking and Payments
Services can be booked through the Spotfix app by selecting the required issue and confirming your location.
Payments can be made via Razorpay (online) or cash.
If a customer prepays for a service and the mechanic fails to arrive or the service is not fulfilled, a full refund will be issued.
Spotfix reserves the right to deny a refund in case of misuse or false service claims.
4. Mechanic Independence
All mechanics listed on the Spotfix platform are independent service providers. They are not employees, partners, or representatives of Spotfix. While we aim to connect you with reliable professionals, we do not control or guarantee the quality, timing, or outcome of any service.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Spotfix app, you agree to:
Provide accurate information while booking a service.
Not misuse the platform or impersonate others.
Refrain from any abusive, unlawful, or fraudulent behavior toward mechanics or Spotfix.
Use the app only for its intended purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
Spotfix is not liable for:
Delays or failure of services caused by third-party mechanics.
Damages resulting from poor service, user negligence, or communication issues.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
Use of the app and its services is at your own risk.
7. Service Availability
Spotfix services are currently available in Bhopal, India. Availability may vary by time and location, and we do not guarantee service in all areas at all times.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes, we will first attempt to resolve the matter through informal discussion. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration under the laws of Madhya Pradesh, India. In certain cases, alternate legal remedies may be pursued.
9. Privacy & Data
Your privacy matters to us. A separate Privacy Policy will outline how we collect, store, and use your data. Until published, you can contact us with any concerns.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after such changes implies your agreement to the revised Terms.
